SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE NILGIRIS AND SOUTH INDIA
Do you know why the Nilgiris are called the Nilgiris?, it is because these toweringly high mountains are so high that on the very top the clouds rest on the mountains, that makes them look greyish blue that is one reason why, but there is another, on the mountains grow these beautiful flowers called Strawmbellanthus, these flowers are the prettiest of blue, that is also why the Nilgiris are called the Nilgiris.
Did you know what the word Nilgiris means? it means blue mountains.
Did you know what the south Indian food is?, it's a specialty dish called sambar idli/dosa, on our journey we had lunch , we had sambar idli and dosa with curry rice and tamarind rice.

CHAPTER -1, OUR SECOND DAY.
4th of JAN, Saturday 2020 we went to see the tea-estate and saw how tea is produced, plucked and made, gradually through our tour done by mr Jhonson, we learnt the 6 methods of making tea , which are plucking, weathering, rolling, oxidyzing, sifting and packing. Another fact is that if you take the thinnest of leaves and make them into tea when you taste it you will notice that it tastes quite strong, but with the thickest of tea leaves you will notice it tastes very light, the name of the tea factory and tea estate is Glendale, it is 150 years old, it is surrounded by thousands of tea-estates, tribals live near the tea estates and pluck the tea for Glendale to make it into drinkable tea .
The tea estate attracts wildlife such as bears, birds and snakes.
That was the official end of our second day.
